Four brothers. One idea.

Al-Haq Thobes started in Manchester in 2023 with four brothers and a belief that modest fashion could be done better.

We had grown up wearing thobes ourselves, but we felt there was a gap in the market. We wanted clothing that respected tradition while still feeling modern, well made and accessible. Rather than waiting for someone else to make that change, we decided to build it ourselves.

There was no big warehouse or polished office when we started. Our first orders were packed from our gardens and sheds in Manchester. Like many family businesses, everyone played their part, from sourcing products and packing parcels to answering customers and building the brand from the ground up.

What began as a small family project is now a community of customers across the UK and around the world, with over 10,000 reviews and counting.

As the brand has grown, so has the team behind it. Today a dedicated team works across marketing, content, photography, creative work and the day-to-day running of Al-Haq. A lot happens behind the scenes to bring each collection to life, and the same work ethic that started in our gardens and sheds still drives us today.

Why we do it

The purpose behind Al-Haq has never changed. We want to make traditional Islamic clothing something people are proud and excited to wear. Our collections bring together timeless styles and contemporary designs, made with quality, comfort and affordability in mind.

From everyday thobes to pieces for Jummah, Eid, weddings and special occasions, our goal is to give you a wardrobe you can rely on.
